Introduction

This course will give students a working knowledge of the AdS/QFT correspondence, and its applications in particle physics, hydrodynamics, fluid mechanics, and condensed matter physics. Participation in the course is a serious commitment, and registration will be limited. Auditing will not be allowed as a significant component of the course will involve working together as a team on small projects.
