Join us for a quantum inspired adventure of imagined worlds, fibonacci spirals, play of light and sound, spooky actions, mysterious cosmic rays, and more.

A celebration of the 2025 International Year of Quantum

Featuring explorations and works by class participants and science-artist guests.

Hosted by the Department of Physics, Campus Honors Program and Siebel Center for Design

In this project-based course, students from the Campus Honors Program immersed in a variety of scientific concepts and artistic media, including through guidance by experts from many diverse disciplines across campus. Participants themselves shared their expertise and explorations and were in dialogue as they journeyed through the process of project building. Scientific themes revolved around the Universe and quantum physics, in tribute to the current United Nations-proclaimed International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. Immersion in the arts included principles of music composition, visual and installation art, theater and poetry, and more.
Here, at the culminating event, in our creations and presentations, we offer you some of the most bewildering and enchanting aspects of quantum science and the arts, and their confluence, that we encountered in our explorations. As for the name of the event, ‘Museum of Quantum Realities’, another happening that caught our attention was the Paris Louvre Museum heist! As for reality, well, what is reality? Maybe we can find out together!
