Official Description
Time-dependent fields. Electromagnetic induction, Maxwell's equations, electromagnetic wave propagation in various media and structures, and electromagnetic radiation from charge and current distributions. Relativistic covariance of Maxwell's equations. Course Information:3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Prerequisite: PHYS 435. Class Schedule Information: Register for a lecture and one of the discussion sections.
