AE 416 - Applied Aerodynamics

Official Description
Two-dimensional and finite wing theory with emphasis on the mechanisms of lift and drag generation; Reynolds number and Mach number effects; drag analysis; high-lift wing systems; propeller and rotor aerodynamics; control surface design; application of V/STOL aerodynamics. Course Information: 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: AE 311.
