Application of science and engineering principles to the design, selection, and performance of engineering alloys. Alloy classes, design, effect of alloying elements, relation to processing variables, and structure-property relationships; design project. Course Information: 3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Prerequisite: MSE 401 and MSE 402.
