Frequently asked questions about 123 Labs:

Question: I tried printing the lab but somehow I can't see any of
the pictures on my web browser--there is an error?

Answer: All exercises have been tested on Netscape Communicator
version 4.5 and Internet Explorer version 4.1 and 5.0 for Windows. You might
have to upgrade your browser or go to Loomis lab where you will have access
to machines with upgraded browsers. You can get free Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet
Explore upgrades.

Question: Where is my lab?

Answer: Please double check that you do not have a conflict because you can not miss any of the lab
sections (see below).  The labs are
held in room 234 of Loomis lab.

Question: I missed my lab today could I attend another session to make it up?

Answer: No. You should not miss the lab section since we do a different activity each week. If you
miss the lab you get a zero for that lab unless you have
a very good excuse. If you have a good
excuse, you must bring your excuse (like a doctor's note)
to Johnetta Wilde in the physics undergraduate
office (room 233 Loomis Lab).

Question: How will the labs be graded?

Answer: The lab grades will be based on attendance and your participation. The TA will be checking
each lab write-up at during each lab section and make sure you have carried out all the
work required for each lab.
