To try a previous PHYS 213 midterm exam, select one of the following. (The star rating system on these problems was added after the fact; the stars did not appear on the exam when the exam was given.) The Fall07 exam, 2008, and 2009 exams are closest to the current content, (though the Fall07 and Fall09 were a bit easier than usual). The main course changes that affect the midterm content are: moving heat engines, heat pumps, refrigerators and Carnot cycles to after the midterm, and including basic Boltzmann distribution problems (up to but not including thermal radiation).
