Welcome to Physics 401: Classical Laboratory!

08 Nov: We have delayed the due date for the Microwave lab reports until just after fall break.
18 Oct: We have added the option for a second revise & resubmit of a report, due the same day as the final report.
18 Oct: Due to major problems with the computer setup in room 276, we were unable to record today's lecture or share it over Zoom. I've added a recording of last semester's lecture to the course Mediaspace page, in the lecture playlist (note that course announcements will of course be different, and the lecture may appear out of order in the playlist).
24 Aug: Problem set #1 is posted on the schedule page, and is Due Friday 9/3 11:59pm

Our first lecture will be held Monday Aug. 23, 3:30pm in 276 Loomis, and will focus on the workings of the course.
Please read the Course Description and Class Policy before Monday's lecture!
Lab will meet the first week! Be sure to check which section time you're registered for..
Check out the Computing Tools page and start preparing some of the basics you'll need:
1. Campus VPN access, for software and shared data access
2. Origin Pro for data analysis (use of other tools is welcome, but not as well-supported).
