*Note that the Midterm exams and solutions will NOT be posted before the Final Exam. Discussion on Tue. Apr. 30 will cover midterms and homework questions from the semester. Any further questions about the midterm solutions will need to be addressed in office hours, or by appointment with me or the TAs.
*There is NO conflict exam given. Please be sure your grades are up-to date before the final. Solutions to HW 11 will be posted by 5/3
For the Final:
-You may use your Griffith's textbook for the exam, but no other notes
-The Exam covers Griffith’s Ch. 8 - 12. The topics of exam problems will follow the distribution of topics on homework.
-Exam problems will be similar to midterm problems, HW problems, in-class examples, examples in textbook, and Discussion problems. The best way to study is to re-do midterm, homework, and discussion problems without looking at your notes or solutions!
Physics 436 is the second half of a two semester course in intermediate electromagnetism.
This semester we will cover time dependent fields, radiation, and special relativity.
