Course Policies
Solid state Physics, Physics 460, Fall 2006
Gradebook: Instructions for accessing the gradebook -- to be completed.
Homework: There will be approximately 10 homework assignments
during the semester. Home work must be turned in by the due date for full
credit. Partial credit will be given for solutions turned in late. The
policy will be announced later.
Exams: There will be one in-class mid-term exam during the semester.
Grading:
Grades will be determined by homework completed and exams. The grades will be
approximately determined as given below. There may be some variations from the
percentages given.
Homework 30%
Midterm Exam 25%
Final Exam 45%
