The code was run and tested on PC/Linux and SPARC/Solaris systems. In each case the compilation was done using gcc compiler. We know that the code crashes if compiled on SPARC machines of the EWS workstations.
The makefile has several options that controls generations of code. Specifically, the options ending with "2" generates code using the KMC2 algorithm, the others use KMC1 algorithm.
The program is provided as a gzipped tar file, as it has quite a few files.
