All assignments are due by the 6:30 p.m. on the posted date, and extensions will not be granted except in extraordinary circumstances. Points will be deducted for assignments turned in after the deadline. Some assignments, as noted, will be eligible for additional rewrite points if they have been submitted by the deadline. Colloquium Reports
In addition to the homework assignments shown above, students are required to attend four departmental colloquiua or topical seminars of their choice during the semester and submit a written report of each. The reviews are worth 25 points each. Students may submit additional reports for extra-credit points. Reports should be placed in the PHYS 496 homework box when complete.
