manipulation of small liquid quantities has been useful in completing
chemical reactions, studying the structure of biological molecules, and
performing biomedical tests.
- Both
horizontal
and vertical vibrations were previously shown to displace drops of water.
However, studies simultaneously involving the two modes had not been
established prior to this paper.
