Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in physics intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.

Section Description

Scientific communication skills development through extensive writing and oral-presentation activities. Topics and associated activities will include creating effective scientific abstracts, research papers, referee reports, scientific proposals, figures and figure captions, journal club presentations, research presentations, and scientific posters. This section will have distributed classroom attendance with supplemental instruction. You will receive an email from our department with specific attendance directives.
