Course Grading
Course grading will proceed in compliance with University policy as given in Article 3, Part 1 of the Student Code.
Any discrepancies found in your student gradebook should be brought to the attention of your section instructor immediately.
Credit Points: Everyone starts with 0 credit points (CPs). You gain CPs by doing homework and the final exam. There will be N homework sets (8 or 9) and all together they will be worth 700 CPs (approximately 70% of your grade). There will be one final exam, worth 250 CPs (25% of your grade). Finally, you can also earn up to 50 CPs by answering questions and attendance in class (the remaining 5% of your grade).
Grading
Your final grade for Physics 516 will be based upon your total score on all the components of the course. The total possible score is 1000 points.
