Course Grading
Course grading will proceed in compliance with University policy as given in Article 3, Part 1 of the Student Code.
Gradebook
You will be able to view your grades on all components of the course using the course gradebook. Check that your lab and quiz grades are correctly entered in the gradebook.
Any discrepancies found in your student gradebook should be brought to the attention of your section instructor immediately.
Grading
Your final grade for Physics 101 will be based upon your total score on all the components of the course. The total possible score is 1000 points.

Bonus Points: 25 points
You will have an opportunity to earn up to 25 bonus points via the following activities.
- In Lecture: answering i>clicker questions correctly (15 bonus points total)
- FlipitPhysics: surveys at the beginning and end of the semester (10 bonus points total)
Bonus points will be added to the non-exam grading portion of the course (not to exceed 500 points) when calculating your final score at the end of the semester.
Final Grade
Because the scores for portions of this course are typically high (e.g. web-based homework, checkpoints, quizzes, and labs) the following cutoff table will be used to calculate final scores.
