This semester we will be delivering PHYS 214 via Remote Learning. (updated 15 June 2020 for lab distribution)

- The course schedule.
- Piazza: Small group discussion will be facilitated using Piazza
- smart.physics: Your homework assignments will be completed in smart.physics.
- GradeScope: All written work in lab and discussion submitted for grading will use GradeScope
- Media Space: Where your lecture videos will be posted.
- PrairieLearn: The exam system
- Zoom: The videoconferencing tool used for your lab and discussion sections.

The Formula Sheet for PHYS 214
Lecture
Lectures will be pre-recorded and available in Media Space. Students are responsible for viewing and studying the lecture recordings. Credit will be awarded for viewing the lectures.
Laboratory
Students must be on time and prepared for labs.
- You will upload your lab reports to GradeScope for grading.
Discussion
Students must be on time and prepared for discussion. This summer Discussion will be organized into two separate, and important components:
- Pre-discussion Piazza discussion activity.
- Synchronous Zoom discussion session, facilitated by your Discussion TA.
Students are required to participate in both portions of Discussion to receive credit for each week's discussion.Excused Absences
- Please submit your excused absence no later than 12 business days from your absence via the Excused Absences application.
