The goal of this lab course
is to emulate the experience of working in an experimental research
lab. Students will learn to use sophisticated equipment and learn how
to correctly write a lab report.
Some of the experiments are
so new that papers have actually been published by students in the
course. Students interested in experimental physics research should
strongly consider taking this course as a way to prepare for future
research experiences or simply to see what may interest them.
