Welcome to the homepage for Phys 427 Fall 2024!

If you are ill, or think you may be, please take the following steps:

- Get a visit confirmation slip.
Stay home if you are very sick, or if you must attend class, please mask.
Use the Excused Absence application to document your absence.
If you are in quarantine, use the Excused Absence application to document your absence.

This math worksheet goes over several calculations that we'll encounter over the course of the semester.

First day of class is Monday, 8/26. Discussions begin Tuesday, 9/3.

9/17: The class schedule has been revised to push midterms 1 and 2 both back by a week. Please look at it to familiarize yourself with the updated schedule. Also, reminder that your HWs need to be legible, and multiple pages must be stapled together - points can and will be deducted for illegible, unstapled problem sets.

10/1: Reminder that Midterm 1 is coming up Wednesday 10/9. Here is the formula sheet that you will have available during the exam.
