Course Grading
Grading breakdown:
30% Homeworks (5 x 6%, due roughly every 3 weeks)
40% Course presentations (2 x 20%)
1. First course presentation (Each student will give a 10 minute presentation with 2 minutes for questions in the style of March Meeting on topics related to the first half of the semester on February 28/March 5)
2. Second course presentation (In the latter half of the semester, there will be a student-led presentation, 25 minute presentation with 5 minutes for questions, on a related topic after each lecture)
25% Oral Final (25 minutes total on two topics: previously selected topic by student and on topic chosen during final. List of topics will be provided. )
5% Class participation
Course grading will proceed in compliance with University policy as given in Article 3, Part 1 of the Student Code.
Any discrepancies found in your student gradebook should be brought to the attention of your section instructor immediately.
