# PHYS 211 :: Physics Illinois :: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

## Exam Information

Physics 211 exams are scheduled to begin at 7 pm on Tuesday evenings. The dates are availabe on the course schedule page. The exams are written to be completed in one hour, but all students are allowed to stay for up to 90 minutes. If you are unable to attend the 7 pm exam, you may sign up for an alternate time in the course gradebook. If you have testing accommodations, please coordinate with DRES to set up a time to take your exam. You must bring your ID, a pencil and a calculator.

Below are pdf files from some past hour exams. The answers and video solutions to all of these past hour exams. These same exams are provided in smart.physics and include video solutions.

We recommend that you take the practice exams, as if they were a regular exam (e.g. on your own, using only the formula sheet and calculator), and then study the questions that you got wrong, or were uncertain about. Note that in smart.physics when you submit your answers it provides information about the fraction of students that got that answer correct. Be sure that you are very confident in your ability to answer (and even explain) problems that had class averages above 75%.
