KINETIC MONTE CARLO FOR MOLECULAR BEAM EPITAXY

The aim of this term project was to demonstrate the principles of
Kinetic Monte Carlo method on a reasonably sized application that
would enable us to work on the basics and not on the implementation details.
The Kinetic Monte Carlo method was of interest to us as it allows
simulation of time-change of physical phenomena. We wanted to to develop
a working knowledge of the method and to understand the differences
between similar methods that are being used in transport simulations.
